More Than Meets The Eye
You know, I thought I had a pretty good eye for detail. I figured I could discern the real thing over something computer generated. Greg pointed me to a site where you can test your ability to determine real from fake (images, not breasts - we've already done that here)....And, I aced the first part of the test!
Oh yeah....I was doing a little happy dance for being so smart. And then, I blew it on the bonus round. 1 out of 4. Oops!
I'm amazed at the technology that allows us to create such realistic images on a computer. I wish I had the talent to work with this medium, though, in a way, I'm glad I can't. Give me some pencils and paper and let me sketch and shade. I feel comfortable there.

Posted by: bogie at June 25, 2003 03:12 AMThe best I could do was 8 out of 10 on the first round--never could get to the second round. I finally gave up and asked to see what were real and what were CG. The ones that I was unshakeable-in-my-conviction about were the ones I had totally wrong!
