After a fine day of hanging out, taking care of business, and hitting the store with The Man, I decided it was high time to get comfortable.
I slipped out of my shorts and thong. On went the big ol' sexy white granny panties. I wiggled my ass at The Man in a sassy way and brought a look of lust to his eyes.
Ahhhh.....it's good to be white trash!
Well, actually, what really happened was that we hit Price Club for some groceries and toilet paper. I picked up a few extras - Jamesetta Hawkins (y'all know who she is, don't you?), Ella Fitzgerald, and Stevie Ray Vaughan CDs found their way into my cart. Likewise a new Michael Connelly book. A couple of treats (for a friend who is very deserving of something wonderful) snuck into the buggy.
Price Club was out of apple juice in boxes. You know, the kind you put in school lunches. Out. Those are the only juice boxes the Little Dude likes and this meant a trip to another store later.
After unloading the car, Greg and I headed off to WalMart. No boxes of apple juice there either. What was there was a clusterfuck of parents and kids gathering school supplies. Ugh. Thank God the ex is working at WalMart these days and picked up that stuff already. I wouldn't want to try it during regular store hours. No way.
One of the other reasons we HAD to go to WalMart was to get Greg a new mouse. His last one pooped out on him this weekend while I was working and he needed a new one. He was so devastated by the loss of the mouse that he resorted to unpacking boxes AND organizing things around here. Depression and withdrawal will do crazy things like that to a man. Now, I gotta figure out how to disable his new mouse so he'll do a few more boxes........

Masking and/or electrical tape on the mouse ball/optical aperture on the bottom of the mouse. Make it a perfectly round piece and it doesn't look too "out of the ordinary".
