Toothless

It's gonna cost me an arm and a leg to play Tooth Fairy!
Little Dude is practically toothless anymore. The top two front teeth are out. The second one came out last night while we were messing around in his room, making his bed sleepable.

He wiggled and wiggled and wiggled that thing until it came out after I'd said something about not getting to see most of his teeth falling out. They usually fall out over at his dad's it seems. Guess he didn't want me missing out on the big stuff and he made it happen!

How can you not love a kid like that?

He's had a busy week. School photos yesterday. Big pack meeting for Cub Scouts the night before. Sea World on Wednesday (the kids had a day off.) Next week is going to be a long one as his birthday closes in on him.

It's hard to believe that he's going to be seven. I remember seven! We're not doing anything big on his actual birthday. That'll be the next day. Birthday party at the park with his friends. I'd been planning this party, made up the invitations, had everything all set and then found out that the park's having a train song festival. I was going to try and change the location, but there aren't that many great parks around for kids. Parks that are just there. I didn't want to have to contend with soccer and Pop Warner football games. I didn't want to have to battle the kids on the play equipment. I just wanted to have a park with picnic tables and space to run around. Well, we have that and a train song festival now. Entertainment I don't have to pay for. I like that!

The other night, before I got ready for work and before I got him ready for Cub Scouts, I cut Little Dude's hair. It looks pretty good. Guess the beauty school dropout retained a few of her skills.

This morning, the kid got up at 0500. He hasn't been back to bed. I'm tired. He wasn't content to play alone after a certain point and I need some sleep. Greg's not been feeling well and all around, we're a miserable looking bunch....at least Greg and I are. The kid's freaking adorable. Photo to follow later after I kill my PSP.

Great picture. I remember when my girls were toothless little wonders. They didn't think they would ever talk right again.

How cute! When I saw Quinton for the first time in four years, he had the dracula fangs and looked just like that.
